Vacuum Chamber Helium Leak Detection System for Automotive Condenser and Evaporator
The vacuum chamber helium leak detection system has two vacuum chambers, the two vacuum boxes work linked. Workpiece is placed into a vacuum chamber and connected with quick connectors. Afterwards, the DOORCLOSE button on the vacuum chamber is pressed at the same time. The door is closed automatically and test cycle is started. Grating protectors are installed on both sides of the vacuum chamber doors to ensure that there is no object that interferes with the movement of the chamber door when the door is closed.
Once one of the doors is closed, the detection cycle of this chamber is began. At this point the operator can go to the other chamber for operation.

Our system has an automatic calibration procedure that makes it very easy to perform regular precision calibrations. The calibrated system accurately determines the overall leakage rate of the workpiece.
The daily inspection of the system: the standard leak gauge (which is dedicated to daily inspection) simulates the workpiece to be inspected, and processes the on-line calibration of the system accuracy, can fully ensure the stability of the system's accuracy and the reliability of the operation.

Vacuum helium detection:
When the evacuation of the vacuum chamber reaches the set leak detection pressure, and at the same time the evacuation of the workpiece in the box has been completed, the system detects the helium signal in the vacuum chamber, and suppresses zero for this signal, and then the workpiece is filled with 4.0 Mpa (downward adjustable) helium gas. When the helium pressure in the workpiece reaches the set value, the leak detector process detection to the workpiece.
If the leak detector finds a helium signal that exceeds the set value, it indicates that there is a fine leak in the workpiece. The system issues a leak alarm. The operator presses the confirmation button, then the vacuum chamber is automatically opened after the atmosphere is filled in. The operator can separate the quick connector from the workpiece, unload the workpiece and mark it accordingly.
If the leak detector does not find a helium signal that exceeds the set value, it indicates that the detected workpiece is not leaking, the system gives out PASS signal, and the helium of workpiece is automatically recovered. At the same time as the helium is recovered, the system fills the vacuum chamber with air. When the pressure of the vacuum chamber rises to atmospheric pressure and the helium recovery process of the workpiece has been completed, the vacuum chamber door is automatically opened and the detection procedure is completed.
